    Laurie Ann Shephard, 47, passed away Monday, January 30, 2012 at McKay-Dee Hospital.

    She was born April 10, 1964 in Ogden, Utah to Carl Walter and Gayle McKinney Maw.

    On September 27, 1986, Laurie married John Lance Shephard in Ogden, Utah.

    She was a tax consultant for Ernst & Young Accounting, following 20 years with the IRS as a Complex Interest Specialist.

    Her biggest priority in life was her family. She loved watching her children excel in their sporting events. She was her son's #1 fan at his baseball games. And Laurie's daughter was her favorite author. She loved animals. She enjoyed singing and loved to share her musical talents with everyone.

    Laurie is survived by her husband, John, their children, Cole and Tess, all of West Haven; her parents, Carl and Gayle, Farr West; ; father-in-law, Neil, Roy; two brothers, John (Tami) Maw, Farr West; William (Lorie) Maw, Plain City; one niece and five nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl and Alta McKinney, Lawrence and Florence Maw, and mother-in-law, Evelyn Shephard.

    Funeral services will be held Friday, February 3rd at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

    The family will meet with friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

    Interment, Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
