    Glenn Harling -- Clifton



    Glenn E. Harling, 80, of Clifton, died Friday (Oct. 14, 2005) at Merkle-Knipprath Nursing Home in Clifton, following a lengthy illness. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, with a 7:30 p.m. funeral service at Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service. Rev. Hal Trovillion will officiate.



    Burial will be in Clifton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church or the donor's choice.



    Mr. Harling was born May 22, 1925 in Clifton, the son of Harry E. and Sarah E. Found Harling. He was a printer and book maker. He was a longtime member and former deacon of Bethel Baptist Church. He enjoyed music, sang for many functions, collected marbles, loved old movies and live theatre, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star.



    His parents are deceased.

    Services for Glenn E. Harling, 80, of Clifton, were held Oct. 17 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton. Rev. Hal Trovillion officiated. Mr. Harling died Oct. 14, 2005. Burial was in Clifton Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were Jim Rankin, Norman Yohnka, Dale Weaver, Wally Clifton, Larry Holder, Rev. Phillip Martinez, Orval Harling Jr., Greg Harling and David and Dennis Kopak.
