    Obituary:
    Brenda Bryant Maw, 70, widow of Paul Maw, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 of a broken heart. She was born October 15, 1951, in Easley, the daughter of Ralph Junior Bryant and Mildred Frances Owens Bryant Fricks. She was as member of 5 Point Church in Easley.

    Brenda grew up in Easley and married the love of her life, Paul shortly after she graduated high school. Paul was in the US Army and together they traveled around the US and Germany wherever he was stationed at. She was able to attain her Associate degree during a stint in California. She eventually started working at Cornerstone National Bank, where she stayed for over 20 years becoming the Vice President of Compliance. She enjoyed reading her Bible every day, and she was actively involved with Senior Adult Ministries at 5 Point. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her grandbabies. She loved her family and will be deeply missed by them.

    Brenda is survived by her daughter, Alisha Johnson and her children, Seth and Katelyn Thompson, all of Liberty; a son, Steven Maw and his wife, Miranda, and their son, Jaxson, all of Anderson; a brother, Larry Bryant; and a sister, Kathy Watts.

    In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, and who died in December 2021, Paul; and a sister, Peggy Taylor.

    Funeral services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, March 9th, at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Rd., Central. Interment will follow at Lawrence Chapel UMC Cemetery.

    The family will receive friends from 6-8:00PM Tuesday, March 8th at the funeral home.
