Charlotte LeRay Dunn Maw, 64, passed away Oct. 19 2017. Born in Rutherfordton, NC, she was the wife of Melvin Alfred Maw and the daughter of the late Walter Graham Dunn, Jr. and Martha Crawford Dunn. She was a graduate of Daniel High School and Tri-County Technical College and was retired from Clemson University. LeRay loved the outdoors and was a member of the Pendleton Area Saddle Club and the Team Noah Saddle Club in which she was instrumental in forming to raise money for the American Heart Association. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Norris where she was a dedicated volunteer for the food pantry. She and Melvin had been married for over 46 years.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Jeff Maw(Katrina) of Central; a brother, Dennis Dunn(Shara) of Six Mile; a sister-in-law, Janie Swords(Wayne) of Liberty; several nieces and nephews Andy Swords(Heather) Nathan Swords(Kasey), Emileigh Swords and Scout Swords; Corbett Dunn(Dana), Kinsley and Noah Dunn; Katherine Green and Kaylington Green.
