Annie Maw
Mrs. Annie Ree Smith Taylor Maw, 65 of Highlands Highway, R-3, Walhalla, S.C. died Friday, Jan. 23, at her home.
Born in Oconee County, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Rev. George and Mattie Lee Smith. She was a retired owner of Taylors Drive-In and a member of Westminster Church of God of Prophecy. Her first husband was the late Carlie T. Taylor.
Survivors include her husband, Alfred Maw; one stepson, Melvin Maw of Central, S.C.; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Janie Swords of Liberty, S.C.; one brother, Lester Smith of Clayton; three sisters, Mrs. Alma Lee, Mrs. Sally Collins and Mrs. Verlene Lee, all of Walhalla; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral was at 4 p.m. Sunday at Rocky Knoll Baptist Church with Dr. James Kirkpatrick, the Rev. Roy Bergner and the Rev. Reid ward officiating. Burial was in Oconee Memorial Park.
