Comments: Hi, I have just returned from a trip to France where I visited numerous WW1 monuments and thought you may be interested in a few Maws I found. One captain Arthur Rogers Maw of the Manchester regiment comemorated at Poziers British cemetery panel 64 to 67 died on the first day of fighting 21 ST March 1918. He is featured in your geniology. Also four more at Thiepval British monument. Namely Frederick William maw Middlesex regiment died 26/ 9/ 1916.

Obituary:
HERBERT HEDLEY MAW (Heddie)
Suddenly at his home on 30th August aged 87 years. Dear brother of Albert and the late John, and a dear brother in law, uncle and great uncle who will be greatly missed. Service to celebrate Heddie's life will be held at All Saints Church Legbourne on Friday 14th September at 2pm followed by burial in the Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations for All Saints Church may be left at Church following the service. Peacefully on 3rd June 2008. Dearly loved Husband of Joyce, much loved Dad of Linda and Tricia, proud Grandad of Joshua and fondly remembered by Andy and Shaun. Service at All Saints Church, Legbourne, on Monday 16th June at 2.00pm, followed by burial in the Churchyard.
