• Notes

  Dear Johan, I can now confirm the details of my great uncle, William Ross Griffiths' death, having got a copy of the death certificate. He died on 28 February 1938 at 31 Fore Street, St Ives, Cornwall. His son-in-law, Herbert Wedmore Martin was present at his death. His wife, Emma, died at the same address on 21 March 1942. This was a few doors away from 39 Fore Street, where the Martins carried on a drapery business. In 1911 Herbert was living there with his parents (from whom he inherited the business).
