The inscription has several errors:
Peter Fini Pentland Enna's birth was registered in Scarborough in January 1920, although the family headstone claims he was born on 9 December 1921.
The same headstone states that Peter was an RAF Navigator and buried in Holland . He was a Flight Sergeant in 13th Squadron who died on 2 June 1942 when his Blenheim Bomber aircraft took off from Wattisham Airfield for an air intruder sortie to Venlo Airfield in the east Netherlands, close to the German border. Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery records show that 923289 Flight Sgt. Enna is buried in Germany in Reichswald Forest Cemetery, Coll. Gr. 28F 15-17 with his two other crew members, F/L D G Redman and F/S T F Trimmer.
The date of birth of his brother Cedric is also wrong: he was born in 1930, not 1931.
