Barbara Maddocks, of 39 Oxford Street, died suddenly on Saturday 15th January 1924 aged 64. An inquest at the Wesleyan Chapel heard that she had been in good health and had not seen a doctor for many years. A post-mortem by Dr Barron found death was due to heart degeneration.
William Maddocks, her husband, a bricklayer, died on 27th February 1929 aged 83.
Louisa Maddocks, their daughter, died on 2nd February 1921 aged 27.
