  • Notes
    • Comments: 1881 Census at 17 Wickens Terrace. Nottingham.
Shows John and Anne Kitchen had a son William Kitchen born 1876 in Thurgaton. There is no mention of him in your records.I am helping my neighbour Raymond Charles Kitchener look into his Family. Rays Father was Walter Charles Kitchener born 1911 in New Brompton. Walter had a Brother William Mawe Kitchener born 1908 in Medway. Their Father was William Kitchener norn 1876 in Thurgaton. William was in the Royal Army Medical Corps in 1911 . He died 26th April 1948 in Gillingham .Kent. We think that William Kitchener was originally William Kitchen son of your John and Anne. (there are no records of William Kitchener other than the 1911 Census)
      William would be Rays Grandfather.
Have you any knowknowlege of William Kitchen or Kitchener
      born Thurgaton. Nottingham.
He must be connected as his first child he called William Mawe Kitchener?
      Hoping you can help us.

      Thanking you
Jeannette Rutter and Ray Kitchener of Cornwall. England
