  • Notes
    • Peter Reid in 1851 was a linen weaver, age 61, born in Falkland, Fife. Isabella Dick [56] was born in East Wemyss. Living with them were Peter [13], son, also a linen weaver, born in Buckhaven, and Thomas Philip [2], described as nephew, but very likely to be the child b.4 February 1849 of John Philip and Helen Reid [m.8 September 1848]; helen Reid was a daughter [b.23 October 1819] of Peter Reid and Isabella Dick, so that Thomas Philip was more likely to be their grandchild.
