- MAW, MARCELLA M. "MARCIE," 78, of Gulfport, formerly of Seminole and St. Petersburg, died Thursday (Jan. 20, 2005) at home under hospice care. Born in Sabina, Ohio, she came to St. Petersburg in 1959 from Louisville, Ky., and moved to Seminole in 1977 and to Gulfport in 1997. She was a nurse anesthetist at several area hospitals and retired in 1994 from University General Hospital. She also served as a nurse in the Air Force. She was a member of Central Christian Church in St. Petersburg and enjoyed reading and sewing. Survivors include a daughter, Roberta "Bobbi" Maw, Gulfport; a son, Robert Jeffrey "RJ," St. Petersburg; three sisters, Dorothy Burton, Delray Beach, and Jenny Beheymer and Eileen Ostermeier, both of Cincinnati. Gulfport Memorial Funeral Home.
