He is survived by his wife, Leona Kathryn Martindale (Vroma); his children, Jackie (Jerry) Wormmeester, Gail (Andy) Thorpe, Tom Martindale; his grandchildren, Janay (Kevin) Nienhuis, Justin (Michelle) Wormmeester, Kalee, Keagan and Taylor Thorpe; his great grandchildren, Elle and Macy Nienhuis and Ty Wormmeester; his sisters, Lois Swanagan and Blanche Kelly; and Leona's siblings, Robert (Pat) Vroma, Eugene (Ann) Vroma, Ruth Tol, Rollene Vroma, Maxine Vroma, Gertrude Vroma and Lil Vroma. A private family burial service was held at Winchester Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
