863 | Addresses: Brandon, Manitoba: 158 1st St, then 513 14th Street New Westminster, B.C.: 412 11th Street Description as an infant: "Hair very light yellow, Eyes med. dk blue, Com very fair" Date that Edward Farr arrived in Canada:- 11th March 1905. He travelled on the Canadian Pacific ship "Lake Erie" from Liverpool to St John, New Brunswick. His final destination was Toronto and he listed himself as a "farmer". As he had worked as a clerk, I bet it was shock when he actually began farming! Hi Don, It's interesting that you didn't know that your grandfather had any sisters, but did he tell you about any brothers? Your grandfather was one of eleven children. He and his brother Walter were the only 2 boys, which means your grandfather had 9 sisters!!! I remember that after the war my grandmother recieved food parcels (dried fruit, sugar etc...) from a relative in Canada. I wonder if it was from your grandfather? Contact me to exchange family information, anecdotes etc... Hilary | Grasby, Edward Farr (I42621)
