Vicki Condon, beloved wife, mom and grandma, died of complications due to Multiple Myeloma on Dec. 9, 2009. She was 63 years old. Vicki is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Leigh; her children, Shanan Fennema and Ryan Condon; seven grandchildren; her sister, Janet Macon; sister-in-law, Mary Wall; as well as many nieces, nephews. Vicki was an avid tennis player who competed nationally and was a lifelong student of the game. She was a born teacher and friend. She is survived by many lifelong friends that she held dear. She loved life and fought valiantly to stay with her loved ones. She was a dedicated grandma and mom and relished the role of matriarch. She will be greatly missed. Family and friends will gather on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2 to 6 p.m. at the Morton Arboretums' Thornhill Education Center in Lisle. A Service of Remembrance will begin at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF), 383 Main Avenue 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851.
