Mary (widow in 1681), dau. of John Maw, Sheriff of Norwich 1649, Mayor 1653, Sheriff of Norfolk 1672, died 1695, bur. in Ch. of St. Andrew, Norwich: Mary m. 2ndly, Rev. Sam'l Chapman, and dying 8 Jan. 1724 aet. 77, was buried at Thorpe, co. Norf. Arms of Maw: Sable, on a fesse counter-embattled between three goats passant argent as many pellets. Sir Francis died in April, 1681, and buried 24 of same month in St. Mary's, Attleborough. Will pro. 6 May 1681. --- E.C.C. Norwich, No. 13.
