Myrtle Norris Maw, 88, formerly of Central and widow of Earl Maw, Sr., died Tuesday, September 6, 2011 in Hendersonville, NC.
Born in Pickens County, Mrs. Maw was a daughter of the late Luther and Mollie Voyles Norris. She was a retired employee of Cannon Mill and a member of Norris First Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son, Earl Maw, Jr. and wife, Rosanne of Pickens; granddaughter, Teresa M. Timms and husband, Shane; and great-grandson, Brandon Looper.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Maw was predeceased by four brothers.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Central.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Thursday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central-Clemson Commons, Central, SC.
The family is at the home of her son.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a Hospice Organization of your choice.

His obituary stated he was retired from textile work and had lived in Central for 45 years. He was a member of Woodmen of The World and of the Baptist faith.
He was survived by his wife; a daughter, Myrtle Maw of Central; four sons, Merrell Norris and Furman Norris of Central, Henry Norris of Clinton and Charles Norris of Pendleton; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Della Rice of Odessa, FL, and Mrs. Sadie Landers of Simpsonville; and two brothers, Robert Lee Norris of Tampa, FL, and Charlie Norris of Easley.
Funeral services: Thursday, February 8,
1968, Second Wesleyan Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Paul Wilcox and Rev. James H. Whitman.
Burial: Memory Gardens Cemetery.
