    Marvin David Hendricks, 84, of 596 Mauldin Lake Road, died Monday, July 8, 2002.

    Survivors: Wife, Nellie Mae Maw Hendricks, of the home; a son, O.D. Hendricks, of Pickens; a daughter, Linda H. Howard, of Easley; brothers, James Hendricks, Franklin Hendricks, Bando Hendricks and Merle Hendricks; sisters, Helen Orr, Oneida Mathis and Rebecca Singleton; and three granddaughters.

    Visitation: 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dillard Memorial Custom Funerals. Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.

    Nellie Mae Maw Hendricks
    December 30, 1924 - May 7, 2017

    Nellie Mae Maw Hendricks, 92, of Pickens, wife of the late Marvin David Hendricks, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Manna Health and Rehabilitation.

    Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late John Quincy and Ida Lee Kelley Maw.

    Mrs. Hendricks enjoyed gardening and was a member of Pickens View Wesleyan Church.

    Surviving are her two children, Orville "O.D." Hendricks (Debbie) and Linda Howard (Stanley); two sisters, Allene Medlin and Francis Merck; three granddaughters, Lesa Howard, Marlena Waggoner, and Lauren Hendricks and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Edy Waggoner.

    Mrs. Hendricks was also predeceased by three brothers and one sister.

    The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home.

    Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens with the Reverend Lewis Edwards officiating.
