    Notes:

Comments: I have some information that can be added to the Maw family tree if you wish. These include some
additions and some changes. I have collected this information from living relatives and documents
in the form of certificate copies. The ID numbers shown here correspond to the ones on the tree.

I have a copy of the birth certificate for Thomas Maw (ID I6755) born 24 Dec 1842 in Stockton-on-Tees.
It shows his father as George Maw (ID I6753) and his mother as Helen Maw (formerly Waring) who I would
assume is the blank on the tree. I assume she is also the mother of Jane (ID I6756)

Thomas married Elizabeth Plowman in June 1868 (She was born 1842 in Chichester, Sussex.
and matches ID I6757) and had Lillian Jane and Elizabeth.
Sometime later in 1877 (Did Elizabeth die or divorce?) Thomas married Margaret Brown (ID I6758), they had my
Great Grandfather Alfred George Maw (ID I6760).

Before Alfred George married Florence Hatcher (ID I8465), he had married Emily Woodcock on
2 Aug 1908 West Ham, Essex, England. (I have a copy of the marriage certificate) She was
born in 1883 in Poplar, London, England. ****

Alfred and Emily had my Grandfather Alfred George Maw born 19 Jun 1909 in Canning Town, West Ham
(confirmed by copy of birth certificate) who married Elsie May King on 27 Mar 1932 in Tottenham, London.
Elsie was born 12 Feb 1910 in Edmonton, London. Alfred died on 13 Sep 1984 in Edmonton, London.
Elsie died on 6 Apr 1994 in Crowborough, East Sussex.

They in turn had my Father Donald Patrick Maw born 26 May 1935 in Tottenham, London plus
Female still living (born 1938) and Male still living (born 1944). Donald married my mother
(still living born 1935). Donald died on 7 Dec 1994 in Southampton, Hampshire.

I was born on 5 Apr 1960 in Finchley, London.

*** When Alfred eventually married Florence Hatcher, they had two children:
Leonard Alfred Maw born 16 Oct 1922 West Ham, Essex. Died Jul 2002 at Redbridge, Essex.
Stanley Cyril Maw born 10 apr 1924 West Ham, Essex. Died Mar 1988 at Waltham Forest, Essex.
